DJ Volume
Dj Valium was the first project of Suprime Music and started 1999 with the debut-single „Keep da Klubbstyle“ followed by 6 singles which have been released successfully in many different countries around the world. DJ Valium was from the beginning an internationally focused project. The team behind this Acts ist the same as with Groove Coverage und Baracuda, Axel Konrad und Ole Wierk. When the 2nd single „Go right for…“ was released the team got a new member: Tanja Korb a.k.a. “Tat” who’s is the singer and head of the act . Later on Tanja also took over some economic and administrative tasks within Suprime Music. The 3rd single, a cover-version of the eurodance-classic „Omen III“ (2000) was a very big step forward for the act and got good chart-positions in various countries, e.g. in Austria where “Omen III” has been over 15 weeks in the sales charts. The next one’s „Doin it again“ and „Bring the beat back“ reached again good positions especially in France and in many Asian countries. In the meantime Dj Valium got a brilliant name with the DJs around the word for delivering fresh dance-songs filling the dancefloors. The next single, “Let´s all Chant“ (2002), an 1978 groovy disco-smash by Michael Zager continued this successful history. Tat und Dj Valium are travelling and performing a lot in order to see and meet their fans around the world (e.g. gigs in Japan, France and Singapore) In 2002 they released in Japan and South-East-Asia
their debut album, called „let’s all chant“. New name, new single. After a little break of about
a year we released the single „Spirit of Yesterday“ (2003)
an adoption of Sonique’s “Sky” which immediately entered
the German single charts and Top 5 of Germany’s leading dance charts
called “German DJ Playlist”, followed by many foreign-countries
releases. |
